The Veterinary Surgeons Council participated in the Paws and Claws event at Esplora, where Dr. Trevor Zammit engaged with visitors and explained the Council’s key responsibilities. These include the regulation of the veterinary profession, issuing warrants to veterinarians, setting ethical standards, investigating complaints of misconduct, and implementing disciplinary measures. The Council’s presence aimed to raise awareness about its vital role in maintaining professional standards and safeguarding animal welfare in Malta.
